PhD International Business Administration and Business Analytics

The PhD program in International Business Administration and Business Analytics is intended for international applicants. The degree program structure provides a flexible framework which enables an interdisciplinary approach. Within the provided framework, supervisor and PhD student agree upon the course of studies in dissertation agreements on an annual basis.

After studying you will have knowledge and skills for:

  • The formulation of new scientific hypotheses and tasks in economics, the economic support of the areas and methods of scientific and applied research, modify the existent methods.
  • Creating new research methods using computer technology, based on the to the specific purpose of research.
  • Analysis of socio-economic phenomena and business processes from the standpoint of both the classical rational economy and behavioral economy. Using the specialized knowledge of the theory of finance, management and marketing activities, econometric assessment methods
  • Creation of economic and mathematical models, interpretation of assessment results, forecasting the behavior of economic systems and processes.
  • The study of theoretical and practical problems of development of complex socio-economic systems using modern economic instruments and information support.

To prepare doctoral candidates for obtaining ‘PhD’ degree in the specialty 051.5 International Business Administration and Business Analytics highly qualified educators of a graduating Department of Economic Cybernetics (Education and Research Institute for Business Technologies «UAB» Sumy State University) and Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and BA (Oleg Balatsky Academic and Research Institute of Finance, Economics and Management) are engaged.
